Bari Weinberger
Bari Zell Weinberger was awarded a Juris Doctorate in 1997 from Suffolk University Law School, and has dedicated her practice exclusively to the fields of family and matrimonial law since her graduation. She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Roger W. Daley, J.S.C. in the Middlesex County Family Part upon receiving her law degree.
Bari Z. Weinberger is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, a certification achieved by only 2% of the attorneys in New Jersey. Ms. Weinberger is the Associate Author of the New Jersey Family Law Practice, 14th Ed., 2010, a 5-volume treatise utilized by virtually every family law judge and practitioner in the State of NJ and is published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. She has also served in this capacity on prior editions as well. She is presently working as the Associate Author of the 15th Ed., which is scheduled to go to print in 2012. Ms. Weinberger has authored numerous articles, many of which are included in this website for your review and education, and she lectures on various divorce-related topics.

Dianna Cavaliere
Dianna C. Cavaliere received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999. While attending law school Ms. Cavaliere was chosen to be a member of the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice where she provided legal aid services in the areas of matrimonial and family law to local Newark, New Jersey residents. After Ms. Cavaliere's graduation from law school she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Passero, J.S.C., Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County. Prior to attending law school Ms. Cavaliere received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration from Montclair State University in 1996.

Patricia Cistaro
Patricia J. Cistaro is an associate with Weinberger Law Group, LLC. Ms. Cistaro was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 2003. She received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003. Ms. Cistaro earned her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice, from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ in 1997. While attending Rutgers College, Ms. Cistaro interned at the Somerset County Courthouse and the Victim/Witness Advocacy Unit of the Middlesex County Prosecutorâs Office.

Joshua Freeman
Josh Freeman earned his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the Syracuse University College of Law, where he concentrated on matrimonial law and was awarded a specialty certificate of study from the schoolâs Center for Family Law and Social Policy. He served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable William R. DeLorenzo, Jr., J.S.C. of the Bergen County Family Part between 2005-2006, and continues to dedicate his practice exclusively to matrimonial law.
Josh is a member of the Family Law Section of the Bergen County Bar Association and New Jersey Bar Association, as well as a participant in the Barry Croland Family Law American Inn of Court. Prior to his legal career, Josh attended Syracuse University as a member of its menâs soccer team and thereafter played professionally for five years in the United States and United Kingdom.

Allison Holzman
Allison Holzman is an associate with Weinberger Law Group, LLC. Ms. Holzman received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1998 and her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law in 2001. There, she was a member of the International Law Journal and a peer advisor. Ms. Holzman also spent time during law school volunteering at the Legal Aid Society/Juvenile Rights Division in Manhattan, as well as undergoing an internship with Federal District Judge Alfred J. Lechner, Jr.

Robyn Howlett
Robyn N. Howlett received her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Howlett served as an intern concentrating her practice on family law related matters. After Ms. Howlett's graduation from law school she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Louis F. Locascio, J.S.C., Family Party Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth County. Prior to attending law school Ms. Howlett received her undergraduate degree from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY in 1997.

Joseph Murphy, Jr.
Joseph "Bud" Murphy was awarded a Juris Doctorate in 2000 and has dedicated his law practice almost exclusively to the fields of family and matrimonial law. He has served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ernest M. Caposela, J.S.C. in the Passaic County Family Part upon his graduation.
Bud is an Accredited Mediator by the State of New Jersey and is an expert panelist with the Morris and Somerset County Early Settlement Panel programs.
Mr. Murphy is vastly experienced in handling child custody and parenting time disputes, matters of domestic violence, emergent applications, uncontested divorce hearings and post-judgment applications. Carmela Novi
Carmela L. Novi received her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1996. While attending law school Ms. Novi was an intern to the Honorable Walter M. Schackman (Supreme Court of New York). Ms. Novi began her family law career while she was a second year law student when she was a paralegal. This is where she first began to observe the inner workings of the family courts and work on client files by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and preparing files for trial.
Eager to be a trial attorney, Carmela argued her first motion in Court just hours after being admitted to the New Jersey bar. Prior to attending law school she received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts, in English Literature with a minor in Pre-Law from Montclair State University in 1992. While in college, she was a board member of Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-law fraternity and a member of the Mock Trial Team which competed at state-wide competitions held at the New Jersey Law Center in 1991 and 1992.
Ms. Novi has successfully handled a wide variety of cases in her practice of family and matrimonial law over the last 15 years. She has experience with all facets of family law litigation, including contested issues of parenting time, child support, alimony, college contribution, equitable distribution of assets, and prenuptial agreements. She also has extensive experience in domestic violence matters.

Jennifer Rubin
Jennifer R. Rubin is an associate with Weinberger Law Group, LLC. Ms. Rubin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, having graduated with honors in 2004. She thereafter received her Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in 2008. During Ms. Rubinâs law school career, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Raymond Lyons in the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Trenton, New Jersey. Since Ms. Rubinâs graduation from law school, she has been exclusively dedicated to the practice of matrimonial law.
Ms. Rubin has successfully handled a variety of matrimonial matters throughout the duration of her practice. She has experience in a myriad of issues of family law such as custody and parenting time disputes, adoptions, child support and special / supplemental needs trusts, alimony, and the equitable distribution of assets. Ms. Rubin has experience in all stages of matrimonial litigation including, but not limited to, conducting discovery, the preparation and defense of motions, settlement panels, and trial.
Ms. Rubin is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the State of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court of New Jersey.

Alan Ryman
In 2007, Alan E. Ryman received his Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. Previously, he interned for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Trial Division, and Law Office of Tyler Fox. Alan was an intern for Honorable Kenneth Desmond, East Boston Division, Boston Municipal Court Department, and Law Clerk to Honorable Ann R. Bartlett, Hunterdon County Superior Court, Family Division 2007 - 2008.
Alan is a court qualified and trained Family Law Mediator and a trained Collaborative Divorce Attorney.
Alan serves as a panelist at the Somerset and Hunterdon County family courts. As a panelist, Alan volunteers his time to the Early Settlement Panel program. This is the process whereby qualified family law attorneys volunteer their time to offer neutral recommendations to litigants and their attorneys who have not yet settled their matters in the hopes of assisting them in reaching a resolution to their outstanding issues.

Erin B. Schneiderman is an associate with Weinberger Law Group, L.L.C. Ms. Schneiderman received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and her Juris Doctorate from the Wake Forest School of Law. Since her graduation from law school in 2005, she has been solely dedicated to the practice of family and matrimonial law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, and in the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Schneiderman served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts, presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, Somerset County.
Ms. Schneiderman is an active participant in the legal community and serves on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyer's Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association and Somerset County Inns of Court.
In 2008, Ms. Schneiderman co-authored the published article "Litigating, Negotiating and Drafting College: a Comprehensive Guide for the New Jersey Family Lawyer." In March 2011, Ms. Schneiderman was recognized as a "New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Stars" by New Jersey Monthly Magazine.

Jessica Ragno Sprague
Jessica Ragno Sprague is an associate with Weinberger Law Group, L.L.C. Ms. Sprague was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 2006. After graduation, Ms. Sprague had the honor to clerk for the Honorable John E. Selser, J.S.C. in Passaic County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. Ms. Sprague received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2006. While attending law school, she was chosen to spend a semester with the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice representing indigent persons in all aspects of matrimonial and family law matters. She also worked as a Research Assistant for State Senator Robert Martin. Ms. Sprague received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Fairleigh Dickinson University, College at Florham in 2003.
Ms. Sprague is a current member of the Passaic County Bar Association and the Tri-Boro Chamber of Commerce. She was recently elected as a County Committee Person for the Passaic County Regular Republican Organization. She is a former member of the Barry Croland Inns of Court, which is exclusively dedicated to matrimonial and family law.

Komal Ullah
Komal S. Ullah received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law - Newark in 2004. Ms. Ullah has successfully handled all types of family law matters including those with issues specific to the elderly, disabled, and children with special needs, who may require trusts and/or public benefits such as Medicaid. Ms. Ullah has also successfully handled matters involving domestic violence, custody, parenting time, alimony, and equitable distribution of assets.
Prior to law school, Ms. Ullah attended Columbia University School of Social Work, where she received a Master of Science in Social Work and concentrated her studies in health, mental health, disabilities, and domestic violence.
Ms. Ullah has been recognized as a 2011 and 2012 New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star.
