Formerly, he worked as a state prosecutor for Galveston County, which gave him valuable experience at the inception of his legal career. He also formerly was employed as a federal prosecutor for the Department of Justice, office in Houston. His experience handling both state and federal cases has given him the knowledge needed to successfully defend the accused in state and federal cases now.
