I became a criminal law attorney because I believe everyone is entitled to be treated fairly and I am willing to stand up for others to support that belief.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

In addition to my criminal law practice, I have extensive judiciary experience in Santa Clara County, having served as Judge Pro Tem in Small Claims Court and in Mediation and Arbitration in Santa Clara and as Santa Clara County Fee Arbitrator.
I have taught at University of San Francisco Law School Summer Trial Advocacy Program.

I began my study of law at Santa Clara University School of Law and graduated with my J.D. in 1987. I was admitted to the State Bar of California that same year.
I opened my law practice in 1994 specializing in criminal law, and maintaining offices in both San Francisco and San Jose.
I have extensive judiciary experience in Santa Clara County, having served as Judge Pro Tem and as Santa Clara County Fee Arbitrator. I have taught at University of San Francisco's Law School Summer Trial Advocacy Program.
