We can do an incredible amount of good for our clients.
Most attorneys can only make the best of a bad situation - they can help you get money for an injury or loss, they can help you through a difficult divorce, or the can help you navigate the system if you find yourself on the wrong side of the law.
We do better than that. We can offer a solution to crushing debt. It is a wonderful way to put our skills and energy to work.
Everyone you meet in our office has been broke at one time or another. We know, first hand, what a weak economy can do to the working class. It gives us the understanding and empathy we need to listen to our clients, and to help them understand that bankruptcy is not a sign of defeat - it is a way to relief and hope.
We understand that this is, first and foremost, about people. Our challenge is put the bankruptcy laws to work for each client, and that takes listening. We keep in mind that we may be the first to hear about a client's troubles - before they tell a spouse, parent, or friend. We treasure that trust, and do our best to earn it as we work through a family's financial situation.
We believe that the better informed our client is, the better decision they can make. HOWEVER, bankruptcy is extremely technical. There are many ways to lose money and property, and the pitfalls are not apparent to someone who is inexperienced.
Our goal, when we work with people, is to make sure they have enough knowledge to have a productive conversation with a licensed, competent attorney in their jurisdiction. Bankruptcy needs to be done right.
