In 1981, Mr. Zizik served as Minority Counsel to the Rhode Island Senate. He has worked to develop and implement alternative billing arrangements within the insurance industry. He has presented nationally on the topic of "Paperless Law Office" and related management issues, including to the DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar, the New Hampshire Federal Bar Association, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA). In 2006, Mr. Zizik was awarded an ADTA Meritorious Service Award for his work with ADTA members in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He has received the highest ("AV") rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and is listed in Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and Adjusters.
