Family

We provide high quality legal representation in divorce, custody and other family law matters, with a focus on finding creative solutions to the challenging problems presented by complex family law cases.

Our team is comprised of skilled, dedicated and hardworking professionals who negotiate, mediate or litigate in our clients' best interests. The attorneys in our firm have over 150 years of collective experience in preparing and trying divorce, custody and other family law cases in Massachusetts.

Our attorneys are highly skilled in complicated cases which involve property division, alimony, child support, custody and parenting plans, modifications of prior judgments, relocation, premarital and postmarital agreements and same sex divorce. We have access to experts who undertake the valuation of complex business interests, analyze pensions and other retirement plans, address complicated tax issues and carry out forensic computer investigations. Other experts such as child psychologists and psychiatrists assist in difficult child custody matters. Real estate appraisers, financial planners and private investigators are also available to us when the need arises.

We believe in collaborating with our clients in developing the strategy to be pursued in each case. Our clients always know what is being done on their behalf. The circumstances and needs of each client, and the needs of any children who are involved, direct our approach to that client's case. Although over ninety percent of our family law cases are settled prior to or at trial, some clients are best served by a trial and decision by the court. In such a case, we spare no effort in protecting the rights of our clients and pursuing their goals in the litigation.
