Mr. Davis received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in 1996 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology. He was active in the cadet chain of command teaching military etiquette and leading lower class-men his sophomore, junior and senior years. He was also a member of Ranger Challenge Team competing with other colleges in the conference. In 2000, he received his law degree from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law.
Before joining West Law Firm, Kevin gained extensive trial experience working for big insurance companies and corporation at Bailey & Wyant, MacCorkle, Lavender & Sweeney, PLLC and Spilman, Thomas & Battle, PLLC, and the Nationwide Insurance Trial Division. While at the Nationwide Insurance Trial Division, he received a Star Award in 2011 for providing a maximum defense for a case that had a potential multimillion dollar verdict. He was also published in the Nationwide Trial Division newsletter for successfully defending a case involving subtle discrimination on appeal.
Kevin's extensive experience working as a trial attorney for corporations and insurance companies gives him an inside perspective on what it takes to get full and fair compensation for clients injured by negligence or other misconduct.
Kevin was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2001. He is also admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.
Currently, Kevin resides in the Charleston, West Virginia area where he coaches soccer and enjoys spending time with his wife Chelle and their four children.
