Wesley Dodge has practiced law in the greater Omaha area and Eastern Nebraska for over twenty-five years. He focuses on resolutions to legal issues that create the least amount of damage to families as possible while protecting his clients rights.
If you are in need of a divorce lawyer or have the need to amend or modify a past child custody or support order Mr. Dodge's practice has over twenty-five years of service in those areas.
Our focus is to put you and your children in the best possible position, in regard to your relationship with them while still putting you in the best financial position possible in regard to child support.
We attempt to give you our best interpretation of the law without taking you through unnecessary exercises that are not necessary in your particular circumstance. How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
Our firm began as a general practice firm, but as we had more and more success and developed a larger cliental in the domestic area our focus shifted to family law, divorce, custody and parenting time issues.
Mr. Dodge is also a mediator, so he has extensive experience dealing with all aspects of domestic conflict, parenting time and property division.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others
Mr. Dodge has several undergrad degrees including backgrounds in social science and education as well as law. This, in combination with his experience teaching and his mediation practice, make him uniquely qualified to work with issues regarding parenting time. His twenty five years of practice in all levels of the state and federal court systems gives him the experience and knowledge to work with the financial issues as well as the litigation issues involved in any domestic dispute.
What distinguishes your law firm from others?
We have a small office that does not have crystal coffee cups or oak paneling. What you get with us is someone who will talk to you person to person and share our suggestions and proposals as to the best way to work through your situation. We can be tough when we have to, but we do our best to work out a civil resolution before we have to go to court and have a Judge with little knowledge of you or the other party decide how you, your children and your ex will be living for the next several years.
Wesley Dodge received an associate degrees from McCook College in Journalism and Psychology in 1981. He has Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Social Sciences with an emphasis in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
