Veterans Disability
VLG focuses on representing disabled veterans, who are unable to work due to one or more service-connected disabilities. Our specialties include TDIU, PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma(MST), Severe Back Injury and more.
Veterans disability law is all that we do. Whether you're just beginning the appeals process or you're ready to fight the system, you can get the legal representation you need from a team of qualified and experienced veterans disability lawyers.

Since 1996, we have fought and won thousands of claims for wounded warriors with physical and psychological disabilities, some of which have helped set new precedents for veterans disability benefits and claims.

And because we focus only on VA disability cases, you get peace of mind in knowing we're always up to date on the law and the everyday practice of the VA.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Our founding attorney, Mark Lippman was introduced to Veterans Affairs while doing legal analysis in Law School. Combining that with having a father who served in the Korean War, he found an area of law where everything he did felt right.

In 1996, after a career in Criminal Appeals, he made the decision to devote his career to Veterans Law with a specific focus on serving veterans whose cases were on appeal with the Veterans Administration.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

Our attorneys, Mark Lippman, Amanda Mineer and Laura Pflugfelder have combined veterans law experience that exceeds three decades. Each attorney is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, accredited as a VA Disability Attorney and licensed to practice Law.

Our paralegals and support staff, Star, Ed and Steve, Violet and Kris, all have a military service background. They are personally familiar with the veterans disability claims process and bring deep understanding and compassion to our veteran clients and the nuances and complexity of veterans disability claims.

Amanda Mineer

I am a passionate advocate for Veterans with Disability Claims and Appeals. Combining my experience as the Supervising Attorney at Veterans Law Group with over a decade as a corporate and entrepreneurial business attorney, I pursue resolutions with diligence and a servants heart.

I became involved in veterans disability claims by helping a close veteran friend successfully resolve a long-standing veterans disability claim. In doing so, I realized the complexity of the U.S.Veterans Administration (VA) and how frustratingly difficult it is to navigate.

Over the last few years I have dedicated my career solely to helping veterans resolve their claims with the VA and receive the benefits and payments they deserve. I interact daily with veterans, Veteran Service Officers (VSO's) and the VA and understand all facets of the system. I have a gift of communicating complicated legal matters with patience and compassion in a manner that is understandable by anyone regardless of their legal background.

I started The Veterans Law Group over 20 years ago to help Veterans who are physically and psychologically disabled as a result of military service. We focus on cases where the disabilities are severe and veterans have been unable to find recourse from the VA.

The Veterans Law Group focuses solely on disability claims that are on appeal with the Veterans Administration. We serve U.S Military Veterans across the globe.
