Firm Overview

DUI and the 10-DAY RULE:

Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs is a very serious misdemeanor offense, not only in Georgia, but across the county.

Your first DUI Conviction carries mandatory jail time, probation, license suspension, community service, fines and treatment classes. Subsequent convictions carry even higher punishments.

DUI Defense requires specialized knowledge and training in probable cause for stops, alcohol manifestations, standardized field sobriety tests (SFSTs), and breathalyzer analysis.

THE 10 DAY RULE: If you refused the breathalyzer test or blew above a 0.08, your license will be confiscated, and the Department of Driver Services will suspend your license for one year. This is a "hard suspension," which means you do not get a limited driving permit. You have 10 days from the date of your arrest to appeal the suspesion. DO NOT WAIT.

If you are charged with a DUI, contact me immediately. The defense process needs to begin almost as quickly as you are released from jail.

Getting a DUI or other criminal charge is a serious issue. It can interfere with your work, personal and financial life. Let an experienced Defense Attorney represent you through the legal system.

I have represented hundreds of people charged with crimes from DUI all the way to Robbery. Give me a call or shoot me an email if you, a friend or a loved one has been arrested for a DUI or other criminal offense.
