We recognize that the situations that bring you to our practice are impacting your entire life. We listen and we take action. Travis Black is a retired police officer. After retiring from law enforcement, Travis spent several years in management of various nationwide insurance companies. With his experience he has the unique ability to look behind the curtain and understands the games insurance companies play. He is skilled and experience in the area of injury and wrongful death law. He specializes in representing clients who are injured and need someone who is willing to take their case all the way through trial if necessary.

Travis graduated from the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming. He is the current Vice President of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association in Sacramento. Travis also volunteers as a judge pro-tem in Sacramento and El Dorado Counties.

With his vast trial experience, Travis has given back to his profession by mentoring many young lawyers.

Kelsey DePoali

Kelsey takes each case personally; she makes sure her clients understand she has their best interest in mind at all times.

Kelsey graduated California State University of Chico with honors in Political Science. She was a member of the National Political Science Academy, she volunteered her time at Self Help Assistance and Referral Program in Butte County helping clients without attorneys represent themselves. In addition she volunteered at Legal Assistance of California, Community Action Volunteers in Action and with the Court appointed Special Advocates for children in Placer County.

Kelsey graduated from Cal Northern School of Law, as well as the prominent Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College. She also is on the Board of Directors for the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association. Kelsey enjoys being in a courtroom, and will not hesitate to take a case to trial.

Kelsey then began her legal career working for Placer County Attorney Panel as a court appointed Attorney.

Currently, Kelsey on the Women in Business group of Folsom, and the National College of DUI Defense. She is also an active member of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Ms. Hunter teaches various classes on personal injury law to chiropractors throughout the Sacramento area.

Ms. Hunter also volunteers for the Placer County CASA program (Court Appointed Special Advocates), CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over children and advocate for their best interest. These children have been neglected or abused and are in the legal system. Ms. Hunter has spent many years helping children in and out of foster care feel safe and work towards permanency in their lives.
