Geoffrey Vernon founded The Vernon Law Firm LLC and focuses his practice on Corporate, Creditor/Debtor, Litigation, and Criminal Law.
Mr. Vernon earned a B.S. from Cornell University in 2008 and subsequently earned a J.D. from The University of Colorado Law School in 2012.
While in law school, Mr. Vernon interned for Judges Gerald Rafferty and Valeria Spencer of Colorado's 18th Judicial District as well as several Denver boutique law firms. Mr. Vernon participated in The University of Colorado Criminal Law Clinic as well, where he represented indigent, criminal defendants before the Boulder County Court.
Mr. Vernon also worked as a legislative fellow for Senator Michael Johnston of Colorado's 33rd Senate District, where Mr. Vernon drafted proposed legislation and recommended action on policy and political matters.
Prior to founding The Vernon Law Firm LLC, Mr. Vernon worked as a consultant at Promontory Financial Group LLC, where he reviewed mortgages as part of a look back review overseen by the United States Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
When Mr. Vernon does not practice law, he enjoys skiing, gardening, and cooking.
