I went to law school with the goal of becoming a personal injury attorney. There wasn't day during law school that I did not know what I wanted to do once I became an attorney.
During law school, each of The May Firm's lawyers, interned at personal injury practices. Upon passing the bar examination, my goal was realized. Since then, my goal is to be the best personal injury attorney. I work towards that goal every day.
Frankly, our attorneys never considered doing any but becoming personal injury lawyers. Practicing as a personal injury attorney is a great honor and responsibility.
Our personal injury attorneys grew up in very humble circumstances and, because we are brothers, each of learned the same lessons in hard work. As we grew up, each of us saw our Dad worked tirelessly in the concrete business. Then, as we got older, each of us worked at the concrete plant (pouring concrete, working on the cement trucks and shoveling sand and gravel, which gave us a work ethic that serves our clients well.
At the same time, our attorneys come from working class roots and we take pride in that fact. Our lawyers are not pretentious and we know that no matter what your occupation or financial status, every personal deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. We do not wear hard hats or carry shovels, like we did when we were younger, but we come to work everyday knowing it takes a hard work to get the results our clients deserve. That will never change.
To that end, we fight for our clients rights for justice.
The May Firm is different than any other law firm I have been associated with.
First, May Firm is a family...literally. The injury lawyers at The May Firm are brothers.
Second, each of us is going exactly what we want to do. We work together, doing what we love with people we love. It's the best of both worlds.
Lastly, as brothers, we are more than willing to demand excellence from one another without being overly concerned that the other will be offended, which is a rarity in the legal profession. Egos are checked at the door, we put our heads down and get the job done.
