The Law Offices of Howard Peritz has been providing its clients with the highest quality of representation in determining whether they need to file for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 protection and guiding them through the process for more than 25 years.
With the national and state economies in the condition they are in, more and more people are finding themselves in financial crises. Creditors are calling, your cars or other personal property are being seized and/or foreclosure is closer than it ever was before. Personal Bankruptcy is a step no one wants to take but sometimes, it is the best thing for you.
Does a Chapter 7 filing or Chapter 13 plan make more sense for bankruptcy?
At the Law Offices of Howard Peritz, we will help you determine whether you need to wipe out your unsecured debts through a Chapter 7 filing or if a Chapter 13 repayment plan is the best thing for you. However, based on the type of income you receive and the assets that you have, you you may not need to file at all.
When you make the decision to file Bankruptcy, you need a professional with years of experience in the field. If the person filing for you does something wrong, you run the risk of having your bankruptcy dismissed and then you will be responsible for your debts in full.
If after consultation, you determine you do not need to file bankruptcy there are several other avenues in which we can assist such as foreclosure defense.
How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
Howard Peritz decided to concentrate the practice in three areas, Bankruptcy, Divorce and DUI Defense. Bankruptcy was extremely important even though there are so many Bankruptcy lawyers because so many of them do not live up to the standards that Peritz adheres to. He has seen all too often the results of the work of attorneys that was sub-par. In some matters, he was able to repair the problem. In others, he was not.
