David is the principal attorney and founder of The Law Offices of David R. Gervais. He has practiced law for nearly 30 years, representing individuals and families with their personal legal needs.
David graduated Bucknell University with a B.A. in philosophy. He then received a Juris Doctorate degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1981, and was Phi Alpha Delta. He was admitted to the Illinois bar and is a member of the McHenry County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
David has been Commissioner and Past President of the Cary Park District, a Life Member and Past President of the McHenry County Historical Society, and is the current Commissioner and Past President of the McHenry County Historic Preservation Commission. He grew up in Crystal Lake and graduated from Crystal Lake Community High School, and he and his wife raised their three children in McHenry County. David enjoys spending time outdoors and is actively involved with local issues, including politics, historic preservation and conservation.

Kelly is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the McHenry County Bar Association. The mother of two sons, Kelly has lived in McHenry County for seven years. Her interest in both gardening and photography often inspire her to photograph the many flowers in the gardens maintained at the Law Offices.

He then moved to Chicago before settling with his wife in McHenry County more than ten years ago. He is a member of the Criminal Law and Family Law subsections of the McHenry County Bar Association, and is the former Secretary/Treasurer of the Criminal Law subsection. In addition, he is a past Director of the McHenry County Historical Society. An intermittent cyclist and runner, Bill loves attending his son's soccer games and being outside. A former felony narcotics prosecutor, Bill practices criminal, civil and divorce law.
