Auto Accident
The attorneys at the Law Office of Manning & Zimmerman, PLLC, bring over 40 years of combined experience and dedication to our cases. We handle cases throughout the State of New Hampshire, and work hard for each of our clients.
We have extensive experience with a wide range of injuries, including death, brain injuries, paralysis, burns, scarring, and broken bones. When you have been injured due to another person's negligence, we will fight for justice for you and your family. Every client is important to us, and every case is unique. We recognize this and give every client individualized attention to help them through this difficult time and maximize the recovery obtained.

Our personal injury practice includes all areas of automobile collisions, including collisions involving drunk drivers, trucking accidents, pedestrian/auto injuries, bicycle/auto injuries, and motorcycle accidents. We also handle sexual assaults, slip and falls, construction accidents, drowning, and other cases involving a defect or dangerous condition. Finally, if you have been injured as a result of a defective product, our attorneys can assist you in determining if you may have a claim against the manufacturer.

There are many factors to be considered in each personal injury case. For example, in many cases you may be entitled to medical payment coverage, in addition to your claim against the negligent party, but the rules regarding when and how this benefit can be used are complicated. Similarly, liens applicable to Medicaid and Medicare can easily confuse those not familiar with the rules pertaining to the requirements for reimbursement. The attorneys at the Law Office of Manning & Zimmerman, PLLC have the experience to guide you through the use of medical payment coverage and to properly address any liens that apply to your case.

We are happy to speak with you regardless of where you are in the process of resolving your personal injury case. However, the earlier you come to us the better. In many cases it is important to preserve evidence to support or substantiate your claim. This may be as simple as making sure photographs of the damage to your automobile have been taken. In other cases, early investigation is critical to preserve surveillance video, document the condition of the location of an injury, or maintain the integrity of a defective product for expert evaluation. The failure to properly maintain evidence can result in the loss of a case, or lessening the value of the damages recovered.

The insurance companies representing the person responsible for your injuries have a great deal of experience and a team of attorneys. Shouldn't you have experience on your side as well? Call us for a free consultation. Home and hospital visits are also available.
Medical Malpractice
The attorneys at the Law Office of Manning & Zimmerman, PLLC help individuals who have suffered substandard medical treatment, resulting in catastrophic injury, obtain the compensation they deserve. The firm'€™s legal and medical knowledge along
Collectively, our team of attorneys have worked for decades protecting the rights of the clients who have suffered from many forms of medical malpractice injuries, including surgical errors, failure to diagnose, and hospital negligence/malpractice. An April 2006 study showed medical errors are on the rise and a quarter of a million Medicare patients were killed by preventable medical errors. The study by HealthGrades Inc., an independent healthcare rating company, also found there were 1.24 million patient safety incidents or medical errors during the same time period from 2002 through 2004, up from 1.18 million between 2001 and 2003.

Unfortunately, the extent of the preventable medical errors is on the rise instead of declining. We all have the right to expect competent medical treatment form our doctors and hospitals.

If you believe you or a loved one was the victim of substandard medical care you need to act promptly. Obtaining legal advice from an experienced attorney to protect your rights must be done quickly due to the time limits placed by law for such actions to be filed in court. We will fight for you or your loved one to receive full and fair compensation under the laws of New Hampshire.
Social Security Disability
We help individuals obtain the Social Security disability benefits they deserve and are entitled to.
Our team understands the Social Security Disability application process and the regulations the Social Security Administration uses to review claims. We use our experience to prepare your application and work with your doctors to support your application.

If your original application is denied, you may need a hearing in order to be granted Social Security benefits. The hearing is informal and many may think they can easily represent themselves, but statistics have shown that people represented by an attorney have been successful more often than those without an attorney.

We do not charge for our services unless you receive benefits. To pay attorney fees, the Social Security Administration will usually withhold 25% of past due benefits. Nothing will be withheld from your regular monthly checks after you receive benefits.

As with most things in life, the sooner you contact an attorney, the better. As your attorney, we will do more than just sit at a hearing and ask questions. There is much pre-hearing preparation, analysis and evidence gathering. We will also work with your doctors to explain the Social Security regulations and obtain a report. For these reasons, the earlier we begin working on your case, the better your chances are of receiving benefits.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

We strive to provide our clients with high-quality legal representation and individual attention. We understand that our clients need support to help them through the difficult time that accompanies a serious injury or the death of a loved one. Our goal is to help all of our clients receive compensation for their injuries and resulting pain and suffering in a relaxed atmosphere. We will spend as much time as needed to be sure that our clients understand all aspects of their case.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We are personally involved in every case and our legal approach is individualized based upon our client’s needs and the facts of their case.

While we have more than 40 years of experience with the litigation process, and the medicine involved in a personal injury case, we understand that it can be intimidating and confusing to our clients. We want our clients to know that we are there working for them and they should always feel comfortable to call or email us or our staff with any questions.
