Business
The Dorcey Law Firm, PLC is an Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Business Planning firm with offices in Fort Myers & Naples, Florida, as well as Birmingham & Gadsden, Alabama.
In today's fast-paced, competitive environment, it isn't always easy to succeed; however, the help of a Ft. Myers business attorney will keep you pointed in the right direction. At The Dorcey Law Firm, we advise our clients to approach their business as an investment, rather than a lifestyle. Although owning a business can be an invigorating experience, many small business owners fail to establish a solid legal foundation at the onset of the business ownership adventure or partnership, or forget to update their business documents as the company grows and flourishes.

The body of laws governing the conducting of business, whether in the public or private sector, is large and varies from state to state. These laws protect employers as well as employees – from the local pizza joint to the largest international conglomerate.

No matter the size of your business, it's important to consult with an attorney on a wide variety of issues, including:

Joint ventures
Human resources
Employee rights and benefits
Franchising
Individual company rules and regulations
Financial issues, including stock holdings
Patents
Startups
Taxes
Small Business Ventures

Whether you're looking to protect your company and your employees, or you need help navigating complex legal situation involving your business, seeking the advice of a skilled Ft. Myers business attorney is one of the best choices you can make to help you succeed. At The Dorcey Legal Firm, our experienced legal staff can help you ensure that your business is protected. Estate Planning
The Dorcey Law Firm, PLC is an Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Business Planning firm with offices in Fort Myers & Naples, Florida, as well as Birmingham & Gadsden, Alabama.
ESTATE PLANNING:

Florida Estate Planning is important for everyone regardless of age or financial status. An Estate Plan is a written expression of how you want your assets to be preserved when you are alive,
and where they will go after your death; in addition to who will make decisions for you in the event of incapacity, incompetence, or disability.

While creating a proper Florida Estate Plan, it is imperative that you work with a Florida Wills and Trusts Lawyer, Florida Estate Planning Attorney, Experienced Florida Financial Planner, and a Florida Certified Public Accountant. At Dorcey Law, we work hand in hand with other professionals in Lee County, Collier County, and Charlotte County to make sure you get the Estate Plan you need. Call to schedule a consultation today!

ASSET PROTECTION:

Additionally, we offer Florida asset protection services to help you create asset, and liability diversification in the event you or someone in your family is pursued by a creditor in the future. During the Florida asset protection planning stage we will look at numerous alternatives to diversify your liability, while attempting to keep you in control. Nevertheless, depending on your unique circumstances we may need to consider out of state alternative (for example: Domestic Asset Protection Trusts, Wyoming LLC, Alaska Community Property Trusts) and maybe even Foreign Asset Protection Trusts and Foreign LLC's.

Please realize that you should not try to create your own Florida asset protection strategy without the help of a competent Florida asset protection attorney as Florida law is very clear on the punishment for fraudulent transfers.

If you are considering creating a Florida asset protection strategy to protect you from future law suits, creditors, and other forms of liability please contact us today for your free consultation with a Florida Asset Protection attorney in Fort Myers, Florida or Lee County, Florida.
Probate
The Dorcey Law Firm, PLC is an Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Business Planning firm with offices in Fort Myers & Naples, Florida, as well as Birmingham & Gadsden, Alabama.
When you need a Ft. Myers probate attorney, The Dorcey Law Firm is the experienced, affordable choice, designed to work with you and your uniquely busy lifestyle. Losing a loved one can be one of the hardest events in your life. Needing to dedicate hours upon hours to settle your loved one's estate can extend the mourning process and make it worse. If you have to add travel time because you do not live in the same city or neighborhood, the stress can become overwhelming. Hiring a reliable, experienced probate attorney to handle the process can prove to be invaluable, and can help you settle your loved one's estate much more quickly, causing less emotional pain and anxiety in the process.

Unfortunately, not all lawyers in this area of expertise are equally skilled. Many attorneys who handle probate do so as an additional service, rather than as a specialty. As such, they are not aware of the latest codes and the newest strategies for maximizing returns and minimizing what can be a lengthy process.

Take the complexity out of confusing legal matters with the help of a qualified Ft. Myers probate attorney. At The Dorcey Law Firm, we'll put our experience and keen insight to work for you, helping you to navigate even the most difficult issues. Our staff is well-versed in the various processes, codes and strategies. If you require a probate attorney, please call to schedule a consultation today! 239-418-0169
