As the principal of the Diallo Law Firm, Souley Diallo is a respected civil and criminal trial attorney who has dedicated his career to providing high quality legal representation in to clients throughout Southern California. Mr. Diallo's criminal practice focuses on representing individuals and businesses charged with serious felony and white collar offenses in both state and federal court. In addition, Mr. Diallo represents professionals before licensing agencies charged with disciplinary offenses, including doctors accountants, insurance brokers, real estate professionals.
In his civil practice, Mr. Diallo represents businesses and individuals general business litigation, professional liability, insurance, employment, and real estate matters. In addition to representing at trial, Mr. Diallo provides litigation avoidance and crisis management counseling in an effort resolve disputes in favor of the client outside of court.
Before establishing the Diallo Law Firm was senior Felony Trial Attorney with the Riverside County Public Defender's Office, where he was twice recognized as Trial Attorney of the Year. At the Public Defender's office Mr. Diallo achieved acquittals on numerous serious felony offenses, including murder, attempted murder, sex offenses, drug sales and gang crimes. Mr. Diallo provided training to fellow Deputy Public Defenders regarding trial practice and gang related crimes.
Prior to joining the Public Defender's Office, Mr. Diallo was an associate with a Los Angeles law firm where he represented clients in business litigation, insurance, intellectual property and employment matters.
Mr. Diallo received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2001. At the USD Law, Mr. Diallo was a member of the award winning National Mock Trial team, and clerked for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of California.
Mr. Diallo received his undergraduate degree in Political Science, from the University of California, San Diego in 1998. As an undergraduate, Mr. Diallo served as President of the Associated Students of UCSD.
