Currently, I serve as the general counsel for several companies that specialize in servicing and litigating on defaulted loans purchased from the FDIC, in servicing several million dollars in student loans, and in providing a market leading card management and customer engagement platform for card issuers worldwide, respectively. Prior to serving as general counsel, I was an associate with a law firm and specialized in business litigation and insurance defense.
Additionally, I serve as the Middle District Representative for the YLD of the State Bar of Georgia, the President for the Macon Affiliate Chapter of the YLD, and am the In League Relations Chair for the Junior League of Macon. I am a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and the Sigma Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Albany State University and received my Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.
