The S.E.Farris Law Firm

The S.E.Farris Law Firm

St. Louis Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Law Firm. We are dedicated to needs of injury victims and their families. NO CHARGE UNTIL RECOVERY!

Firm Overview

Occasionally law firms boast about their considerable size. At The S.E. Farris Law Firm, we are small by design and able to focus our full attention on the needs of our clients. We are a St. Louis-based law firm that specializes in providing compassionate legal representation for Missouri and Illinois clients in need of an experienced personal injury lawyer.

When you hire us, you will meet the attorney who will be with you throughout the legal process. When your case is ready for trial, you will benefit from our teamwork.

Representing Injury Victims in Missouri
You only get one chance to pursue your legal rights and you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to select an experienced, knowledgeable attorney who has your needs in mind. It is our policy to never defend or represent any insurance company, as they have interests that are adverse to those of our clients.

We have resolved cases for injury victims involving defective products, nursing home neglect, auto injuries, work related injuries, wrongful deaths, medical malpractice, discrimination, falls, and many other causes.

No Charge Until Recovery
There are no fees for an initial consultation, and if we choose to further review your case, we will do so at no charge as well.

Most of our clients choose to have us represent them on a contingency fee basis. Under this arrangement, you are not charged any fees for our legal services unless and until monetary damages are recovered as a result of a jury verdict or settlement. All contingent fee agreements are put in writing and signed by the client and attorney, and your case doesn't settle until you decide it does.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I like helping my clients, and I can think of no more rewarding area of the law to do that.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I think the internet has helped consumers learn about the law, but clients should consult an experienced trial attorney when necessary. Unfortunately, many folks trust insurance agents who are not looking out for their best interests, or hire attorneys based solely on advertisements.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

This is not part of my practice.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I have often guided folks who did not need an attorney down the right path to self representation. However, these are rare occurrences of non-serious injuries.

Spencer Farris

Spencer Farris graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. After his graduation from Oklahoma State, he went on to further his education at Washington University School of Law, in St. Louis, Missouri, where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in law. During his time at Washington University he served on their nationally recognized Trial Team and received recognition from the International Academy of Trial Attorneys. He also won the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence the highest honor given in the course during Law School. After graduating from Washington University School of Law, Farris was given the opportunity to practice law with many of the Midwest's most respected and talented accident attorneys.

In 2001, he began a new firm, The S.E. Farris Law Firm, which only represents victims in personal injury cases including: automobile accidents, work injuries, motorcycle accidents, and more. While his practice is based out of St. Louis, Missouri, Farris is a Civil Trial Attorney, licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and federal courts throughout the United States.

In addition to running his own law firm, Farris is also involved in many organizations. He serves on the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA)* Board of Governors and was associate editor and editor of its magazine for several years. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and a founding member of the Consumer Attorney Network, 1992-present. Farris writes a syndicated column for the Levison Group: Under Analysis, which focuses on law related issues, typically (hopefully) with a humorous perspective.

Farris, an avid outdoorsman, enjoys hunting and fishing. When not in the office he can be found in a tree stand in the woods or near a lake, pond, or river.
