Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Whenever possible, we have paralegals gather the documents and prepare forms. We are sensitive to being cost-effective for our clients but we do not compromise on the quality because the best quality is what produces the best results for our clients.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Very seldom.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Yes, we offer pro bono legal services as well as public education and speaking engagements on immigration matters.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We are one of the top law firms in the country in the area of immigration law as judged by our peers. We get superior results for our clients and make the immigration process easier and less stressful for them and keeping them well-informed throughout their journey.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Immigration laws are very complex and in almost every situation, the client would be served better by hiring a good attorney and not to do it themselves. We often get cases that got complicated because people try on their own or hire incompetent representation and they could have saved a lot of money, frustration, and time if they went with a good lawyer from the beginning.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes, we are willing to do so.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

No. Immigration laws are very complex and it takes about 2 years to coach an attorney to become competent in areas of immigration laws. If the client wants to save money, frustration, and time we recommend that they hire the best lawyer they can from the beginning because we are dealing with their future in this country.
