A Message From Shannon P. O'Malley: I believe all people have a right to have their day in court and deserve to be represented by competent counsel and have an impartial jury decide their case. All people deserve a chance for a fresh start.

Firm Overview

While at law school in Michigan, I worked for the Michigan Friend of the Court, dealing with minor children abuse and neglect cases. Upon graduation and passing the Illinois State Bar Exam, I became a member and participant in the Illinois Justice for Youth program.

Subsequently I was sworn into the Northern District of Illinois Federal Trial Bar. I have represented numerous people in federal court. In state court I have represented countless misdemeanor and felony offenses dealing with varying violent crimes, arson, robbery (armed), UUW (unlawful use of a weapon, also referred to as gun charges), and PCS (possession of a controlled substance or drug possession) cases. I have defended clients from across the greater Chicago area against charges such as fraud, reckless driving, and serious (DUI) traffic violations and a full range of misdemeanor and felony offenses. I have successfully defended my clients in numerous jury trials.

I have represented countless people before the Illinois Secretary of State as to license reinstatement.

Utilizing the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, I have helped save numerous homes in foreclosure and autos from repossession. I am proud to state I have assisted people in obtaining a fresh start.

Formerly I was a Cook County's arbitration panelist (10 years) as to differing subrogation and injury cases. I have been an active bar attorney for the Chicago Bar Association (10+ years).

If you or a loved one is in trouble, my team and I want to help. Let us stand up for you and fight to defend your rights.
