Eric S. Rossman

Eric S. Rossman has dedicated his career to representing clients in employment law, medical malpractice and personal injury litigation in state and federal courts throughout the northwest. As an Idaho native, Eric is a graduate of Boise State University (B.B.A., Business, 1989) and the University of Idaho (J.D., 1992). He is admitted to practice in all of Idaho's state district courts, the Idaho Court of Appeals, the Idaho Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and District of Columbia Circuits. Mr. Rossman has tried numerous cases to a judge and jury with great success and has recovered through trial or settlement an amount in excess of Fifty-Million dollars for his clients. He is frequently called upon to speak before trade associations, Corporate HR representatives and attorneys regarding matters within his areas of expertise. He is a member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

Erica S. Phillips

Erica S. Phillips is an Idaho native and a graduate of the University of Idaho (B.A. 1993; J.D. 1999, summa cum laude). She was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1999 and is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Idaho. Following law school, she clerked for then Chief Justice Linda Copple Trout at the Idaho Supreme Court from 1999 to 2000. She has been in private practice since 2000 focuses in the areas of employment law and medical malpractice litigation throughout the State of Idaho.

Matthew G. Gunn

Matthew G. Gunn is an experienced litigator who joined Rossman Law Group in 2018. Previously, Mr. Gunn was part of the litigation groups at Holland and Hart; Brassey Crawford and Howell; and Barnum, Howell and Gunn. Mr. Gunn is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Idaho. Mr. Gunn is also a member of the New York State Bar and the Washington State Bar.

Mr. Gunn graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Arkansas in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While a student-athlete on the University of Arkansas Razorbacks' cross country and track & field teams, Mr. Gunn was twice named to the All-SEC team in both cross county and the 5,000 meters. Throughout his time as a Razorback, Mr. Gunn was also a member of numerous SEC championship teams as well as five NCAA Division I national championship teams. In 2005, during his senior year with the Razorbacks, Mr. Gunn was awarded the Walter Byers Scholarship by the NCAA. As the NCAA's highest academic/athletic award, the Walter Byers Scholarship recognized Mr. Gunn as the top male student-athlete in the NCAA, out of all divisions and sports.

In 2008, Mr. Gunn received his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School in New York City, with an emphasis in foreign and comparative law. Mr. Gunn returned west after law school, serving as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Justin L. Quackenbush of the Eastern District of Washington in Spokane. Mr. Gunn then served as a law clerk for Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Stephen S. Trott in Boise.

A native of Idaho Falls, Mr. Gunn enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, camping, and playing ice hockey.
