Attorney Howard Dworman was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 2006, he earned his BA in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. Howard enjoyed his years in college and was active in intramural ice hockey, roller hockey, and soccer. During his studies, he was an active member of the Criminal Justice Student Association and a Teaching Assistant for a variety of criminal justice and sociology courses. Craig has been on the Board of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice (AACJ) from 2014-present and its elected President in 2018. He has helped form and is an active member of the Legislative committee. He works tirelessly on pushing forward the agenda of improving the criminal justice system. Craig's efforts include drafting legislation that has been sponsored by State legislators that seek to reform criminal justice in Arizona. Most recently, his office was single handily been responsible for a bill signed by the Governor and passed into law.

Craig is a board member for the Arizona Justice (Innocence) Project while also being an active member of various professional organizations. These include the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and is a founding member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association (DUIDLA).
