Attorney Anne K Howard has always had a strong interest in helping physically and mentally disabled individuals. She was appointed by Ohio's former Governor, Ted Strickland, to serve two consecutive terms on Ohio's Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA). She was also a board member of a local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She serves her clients with compassion and respect.
Attorney Howard graduated with Deans Honors from McGill University, and with Deans Honors from University of Cincinnati, College of Law. She previously worked as an attorney/advisor for the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR). While at ODAR, Attorney Howard received the Excellence Award for the Outstanding Production of Judicial Decisions. Her detailed knowledge of the inner workings of the Social Security Administration enables her to fight at every turn for the benefits that her clients deserve. Attorney Howard has represented hundreds of Social Security claimants over the years. She has won the vast majority of her cases.
Attorney Rosenstein is "of counsel". This means that Attorney Howard consults with him on many of her cases. Attorney Rosenstein has practiced law for over 38 years, and for over 20 years he has focused his practice on representing Social Security claimants.
At Rosenstein and Howard, we are big enough to win, but small enough to care. Don't be fooled by TV ads for large, out of state law firms. We are local, and we care. When you phone our office, you will get to talk to an attorney. If Attorney Howard is not available at that moment, she will return your call. Did you know that when you phone a big Social Security law firm as advertised on TV, you will rarely speak directly to an attorney? In fact, you will sometimes not meet your attorney until the day of your court hearing.
At Rosenstein and Howard, you will have an initial, in person consultation with Attorney Howard that will last for well over an hour. Attorney Howard will discuss with you your medical history, and how she plans to win your case. You will have further direct contact with Attorney Howard throughout the appeal process, especially before your court hearing. At that time, Attorney Howard will sit down with you for at least an hour and prepare you for your big day in court.
