He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Onslow County, North Carolina Bar Association, having held the position of president of the Onslow County Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and is a Board Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law, North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization. He has been a guest speaker at continuing education legal seminars. Attorney Moore has served as county attorney for Onslow County for 27 years. In 1986 he was president of the North Carolina Association of County Attorneys, and in 1987 he was named North Carolina's outstanding county attorney.
