Robert C. Duthie III

Robert C. Duthie III, known to all as "Bobby", has been practicing law in Colorado for over 30 years, establishing a solid reputation for his excellence in oral argument and trial strategy. Attorney Duthie was born in Vallejo, CA (1952) but grew up in Durango, CO excelling at skiing, golf and debate while in high school. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, Bobby received a B.A. in English Literature from University of Colorado and then a Masters in Business Administration (Finance/Marketing) before entering law school at the University of Tulsa College of Law and receiving his J.D. in 1981. Bobby returned to Durango and joined his father's law practice that same year. As a long-standing pillar of the legal community, Attorney Duthie is distinguished for his professionalism and ethics. Most of his legal career he has specialized in insurance defense, criminal defense, and emphasized a broad Trial Practice. His many years of experience make him well versed in many areas of law and capable of representing clients in all criminal and civil proceedings in local, state and federal courts. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Southwestern Colorado Bar Association, and a U.S. District of Colorado Court Judicial Panel Attorney. In his free time, Bobby and his wife, Lana, love to travel, with many friends and family, in addition to remaining an avid skier, golfer and cyclist.

Anthony Savastano

In November of 2012, the law firm welcomed to the practice Bobby's nephew, Anthony Savastano. Initially an associate attorney, Anthony has now become a Shareholder member in the firm. In May 2016, Anthony will become President of the Southwestern Colorado Bar Association. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Anthony Savastano lived throughout the country before attending Kansas State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Shortly thereafter, Anthony attended and graduated from Tulsa University's College of Law in 2012. While studying at Tulsa, Anthony maintained an internship at the largest plaintiff's firm in Oklahoma, Smolen, Smolen & Roytman; working on intricate and complex legal issues encountered in litigation surrounding Civil Rights violations, Insurance Bad Faith, and a number of Class Action lawsuits. When away from the office, Anthony is a rabid KSU Wildcat and Denver Broncos fan, and enjoys skiing, biking, tennis, soccer, the great outdoors, and spending time with his wife and dogs.

Ryan Brungard

In August 2013, the firm welcomed University of Tulsa College of Law graduate and classmate of Anthony's, Ryan Brungard to the practice. Born in 1985 in beautiful St. Louis, MO, Ryan attended the University of Missouri, Columbia graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. In law school, Attorney Brungard served as Production Editor for the Tulsa Law Review and had his article, "Finally, Crack Sentencing Reform: Why It Should Be Retroactive", published in 47 Tulsa L. Rev. 745(2012). In addition to receiving his J.D. with honors in 2012, Ryan was Phi Delta Phi and received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award (Legal Reasoning, Analysis and Writing & Tulsa Law Review). He maintained summer internships with Dowd and Dowd, P.C., St. Louis, MO (2010); the U.S. Probation Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, St. Louis, MO (2010); and the Missouri Attorney General's Office, St. Louis, MO (2011). Prior to graduation, Ryan was Judicial Intern for the Honorable T. Lane Wilson, Federal Magistrate Judge, Tulsa, OK (2012). As a shareholder member of Duthie Savastano Brungard, PLLC, Attorney Brungard is a member of good standing with the Missouri Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association. Newly ensconced in Colorado, Ryan has become an avid mountain biker and skier and enjoys music, hiking with his rescue dog, Hope, soccer, hockey, traveling, and is currently a volunteer and Board Member with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado.
