The Ramsey Law Group transactional team represents start-ups and established businesses in technology, real estate, e-commerce, food and beverage, manufacturing and services. Martin Sances

Martin Sances is an experienced general counsel and transactional attorney who brings significant business acumen to the table when dealing with any problems facing the modern business. From mergers and acquisitions to labor disputes or insurance coverage problems, Martin takes a proactive approach in preparing clients to handle the varied legal difficulties they may face.

Bruce Ramsey

Bruce Ramsey has 30 years of experience helping companies with their legal concerns, enabling business owners and leaders to focus on their business goals.

Bruce represents and serves as General Counsel and legal advisor to technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, food and beverage, and professional service companies; from start-ups to well established companies. He provides advice on complex, as well as day-to-day, business matters; and generates solutions to challenging legal and business issues.

Bruce has extensive experience in all business stages from product development, market entry, product diversification, customer retention, business divestiture, and winding up. Bruce has good communication and interpersonal skills and is able to effectively deal and build consensus with a diverse group.

Bruce is a creative thinker, who thrives on new challenges. He also likes to work closely with management so as to better understand them and the business which in turn results in greater efficiencies and better legal and business advice.

Hussein Saffouri

Hussein Saffouri is a commercial trial lawyer focusing primarily on real estate litigation and land use issues. His clients include developers, commercial property owners and tenants, public agencies, property managers, lenders and wealth managers. He also has expertise handling partnership disputes where real property issues are involved.

In addition, Hussein's practice includes representing high-tech clients in contract disputes. Hussein has developed expertise extending to copyright and trademark litigation and other matters relating to emerging and high-tech companies.

Hussein views his role as a problem-solver. He looks for imaginative solutions that can save his clients cost and time. As a result, in addition to his extensive litigation experience (including numerous arbitrations, court and jury trials and appeals), he also has experience working with clients on transactional matters to help them resolve problems before litigation arises; and he has developed special skill as a negotiator.

Hussein is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is admitted to all Federal District Courts in California and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is also a trained mediator and is on the mediation panels of the Alameda County and the Sonoma County Superior Courts.

Before joining the Ramsey Law Group Hussein was with the firm of Hanson Bridgett for eleven years, and with the firm of Bartko, Zankel, Tarrant & Miller for three years before that.

Hussein has authored numerous articles on real estate issues, and given and moderated numerous programs on real estate litigation, landlord-tenant law, and boundary dispute resolution. His audiences have included property owners and managers, and title officers and other real estate professionals, as well as attorneys. Hussein has also held been an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley where he taught classes on modern legal practice, and has assisted with coaching the UC Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law mock trial team.

From 2003 to 2009, Hussein received the Wiley W. Manuel Award in recognition of his pro bono service with Legal Aid of Marin.

Stephen Judson

Stephen M. Judson is an experienced civil litigator who has built a practice focusing on real estate and construction disputes, commercial lease litigation (including unlawful detainers), and business/commercial law with an emphasis on creditor's rights in state and federal Bankruptcy Courts. His representative clients are construction professionals, contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers, as well as property and business owners and commercial property managers. Steve represents all forms of business entities, including partnerships, corporations, LLCs, as well as individuals.
