How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

During the technology boom in the 1980s, the firm developed an emphasis on family law, especially for high-income individuals. Since then, its emphasis has broadened to assisting individuals with their personal and financial needs.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

For a bankruptcy or debt matter, we recommend hiring a lawyer who is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA).

Of course, attorney Greg Roberson is a member.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Clients receive personal attention to their legal issues and are not passed off to a legal assistant or paralegal.

All attorney fees, court costs, and other charges are reasonable and set forth clearly during the free consultation.

Greg Roberson

Greg Roberson joined Peterson, Peterson, Walchli & Roberson LLP in 2014 after practicing law for five and a half years at Hart Wagner LLP, a large downtown Portland law firm. While at Hart Wagner, he represented individuals, businesses, county jails, police departments, and school districts, and handled a wide variety of cases with a focus on defending against claims of personal injury and property damage.

Drawing from those experiences, and with his long-time interest in bankruptcy law, his law practice focuses on civil litigation and consumer bankruptcy matters. He enjoys bankruptcy work because it is one of the few powerful weapons available for people to have a fresh start in life, and it is a uniquely challenging mix of federal, administrative, and state law.

If you are a bankruptcy client, Greg will analyze your debt situation and advise you of the most cost-effective solution available to you, as well as help you to understand your bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy options. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), which is the only national organization dedicated to protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy and serving the needs of consumer bankruptcy attorneys.

If you have a personal injury or property damage claim, Greg will thoroughly discuss your claim with you and will seek a recovery for your injuries.

Greg is admitted to practice law in Oregon state and federal courts.

When he is not working, he brews beer, researches the genealogy of his and his wife's families, and tries to garden. He is also writing a book about aliens visiting Earth that will probably never be finished or published.
