With 23 years of experience, Ms. Perlet has earned a solid reputation as a tough, creative, passionate, and thorough litigator at both the federal and state level. As a former criminal prosecutor, she understands both sides of a criminal case insight that is invaluable when it comes to effectively defending an accused person. Ms. Perlet handles a wide variety of criminal cases, including those involving sexual assault/battery, computer crimes, drug crimes, DUI, murder, Medicare fraud, and much more. Marc Shiner

Marc Shiner has 28 years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer atPerlet, Shiner, Melchiorre & Walsh, P.A. As a former major crimes prosecutor for the State Attorney's Office, he has handled hundreds of trials, many of which have received national media attention. He handles the full range of criminal cases, including those involving murder, conspiracy, RICO, drug offenses, money laundering, sex crimes, child pornography, and much more. He has been a criminal defense lawyer for 15 years, and has been featured on various news media outlets, including MSNBV, CNN, Court TV, Fox TV, and more. A seasoned litigator, Mr. Shiner is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Palm Beach County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Rob Melchiorre

Attorney Rob Melchiorre is a former Assistant State Attorney at the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office who now tenaciously defends the rights of the accused in West Palm Beach. As a prosecutor, Mr. Melchiorre was put in charge of all the County Court prosecutors and held the position of Assistant Chief of County Court. His ability, natural leadership skills, and uncompromising commitment to ethics led him to be invited to the firm in 2012.
Mr. Melchiorre has handled more than 50 jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts involving a variety of criminal matters, including DUI, sex crimes, battery/assault, computer crimes, white collar crimes, drug crimes, juvenile offenses, and all other misdemeanor and felony offenses.

Paul Walsh

A native of South Florida, Paul Walsh earned his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. Named among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers in 2014, Mr. Walsh has been with the team at Perlet, Shiner, McKamey, Melchiorre & Walsh, P.A. since 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Walsh was a prosecutor in the Drug Unit and Organized Crime Unit of the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office. This experience allows him to examine criminal cases from both perspectives, making him and insightful and effective advocate for his clients. Tenacious and hard working, Mr. Walsh has handled more than 80 jury and non-jury trials involving a variety of criminal charges, including drug crimes, RICO, sex crimes, assault/battery, DUI, theft crimes, and all misdemeanor and felony cases in both federal and state courts. He also handles the majority of forfeiture cases for the firm. He is licensed to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
