Firm Overview

Welcome. Arnie Pedowitz has been practicing law since 1971 and Bob Meister has been practicing even longer. We are both knowledgeable in many areas of the law and regularly provide advice to individuals, families, progressive employers and not-for-profit organizations.

There is more to selecting wise counsel than the name of a firm or the rate charged. What you want to know is that the individual actually servicing your needs has the experience, temperament, and ability to pursue and obtain the result you deserve. While there can be no guarantees in the legal arena, if things do not go well for you it should not be because you selected a lawyer based on his/her low price, or because the lawyer irresponsibly promised you the moon, or because the lawyer you hired turned your case over to someone else.

At Pedowitz & Meister we devote the time and personal attention needed for each case. Though our rates are not the lowest, we have found that we work faster and more efficiently than many other lawyers, often resulting in lower overall charges to our clients.

We hope that you will find this site to be informative and helpful. Our goal is to provide high quality legal services in an economical and timely fashion. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you and to discuss how we may be of service.
