Philadelphia Workers Comp Lawyer

Firm Overview

Muller Brazil, LLP is one of Pennsylvania's up-and-coming trial law firms. Our team of experienced lawyers represents victims in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, workers compensation, vaccine injury and various insurance issues. We have offices in Philadelphia and Scranton and handle cases throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

We began our careers working in a large Philadelphia insurance defense firm. We concentrated our practice defending major corporations and insurance companies. We honed our courtroom skills and battled for our clients. During the years we spent years working for insurance companies we became well-versed in their strategies and tactics and learned how to beat them. While we are indebted for the invaluable experience, defending insurance companies was simply not the work we believed in.

We created Muller Brazil, LLP to help everyday people get the justice they deserve. We are determined to fight for the victim that was hit by a reckless driver; the mother who slipped and fell while grocery shopping; the homeowner that was bullied by their insurance company; and the individual who was seriously injured while under the care of a negligent physician or doctor.

Workers Compensation
The Worker's Compensation attorneys at Muller Brazil, LLP handle a variety of workers' compensation cases throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation laws were enacted to protect employees by providing medical and wage loss benefits through your employer. The laws also provide for death benefits in case of a fatal injury. While accidents are the most common form of on-the-job injuries, you may be also entitled to benefits if you have a work-related disease or occupational illness, if you have been exposed to a hazardous substance, if you have suffered a loss of hearing as a result of noise exposure at work, or if you have other ailments, such as a repetitive motion disorder. Preexisting conditions that are aggravated by your employment may be covered under Pennsylvania workers' compensation.

To be eligible for workers' compensation benefits, you must be able to show:

1. You were employed at the time of your injury
2. Your injury did occur while you were on the job
3. Your injury was related to your employment

Our workers' compensation lawyers have built a strong reputation for helping clients suffering from many different types of injuries:

- Head injuries
