What Is Medical Malpractice?

Medical malpractice is when a medical provider (a doctor, nurse, or the like) fails to meet the standard of care in their practice or is negligent in their treatment of their patient. The result of medical malpractice can be catastrophic, leading to wrongful death, brain injury, paralysis, and more.

People who are victims of medical malpractice can experience any or all of the following:

Sacramento Medical Malpractice Attorney - Experienced, Dependable, Compassionate

Many people are injured by medical malpractice every year, but, sadly, few ever seek a lawyer's help. In fact, it has been estimated that 85% of people injured by medical malpractice never filed a claim.

According to an article recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, over 180,000 people die each year due to medical mistakes. This has become the third leading cause of death in United States after deaths from heart disease and cancer.

If you have been seriously injured, or if you have lost a loved one, due to medical malpractice, you should contact us immediately.

A Lawyer Who Wins, Serves and Cares

While in private practice, I have also volunteered my time in the District Attorney's Office and the Public Defender's Office. I was the founding President of MADD (Mother Against Drunk Driving) in Santa Clara County. I serve as a settlement Judge-Protem in Sacramento and El Dorado Counties. I am a member of the California State Bar, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

I am a Christian attorney and my Christian roots run deep. I received Jesus Christ as my savior in 1972 and He has walked with me ever since. I am proud to be a Christian lawyer. I teach the Bible on the radio every day. My program is called "Real Christianity" and can be heard on KFIA (AM-710) Monday through Friday at 12 noon and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. I hope you will tune in.

I am married with six children. I love practicing law. It allows me to help others who are hurting and need my help.
