Lynn M. Mirabella

For the last ten years, I have concentrated my practice exclusively in the area of family law. This area, of course, encompasses a wide variety of legal issues, including custody, child support, maintenance, property distribution, etc. In addition, I am certified to represent children as a Guardian ad Litem, Child's Representative, Attorney for Child in difficult family law cases. Finally, as more non-traditional methods of dispute resolution become popular, I have become a licensed and certified mediator and licensed by the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. George S. Frederick

George S. Frederick is a managing partner with the law firm of Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC. He is focusing primarily on the areas of divorce and family law and representing employees in the areas of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliatory discharge, wage and hour claims, and related employment litigation.

Mr. Frederick has been associated with the firm since obtaining his license to practice law in 1998. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Northern Illinois University College of Law and holds an accounting degree from Arizona State University. Mr. Frederick is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.

John B. Kincaid

John Kincaid has recently been named as Laureate of the Academy of Illinois Lawyers by the Academy Board of Regents. The award has been received by 102 lawyers since its origination in 1999. The award is given to an attorney who has practiced law in Illinois for at least 25 years and demonstrated a commitment to the highest principles of the legal profession and to serving the public. John also recently received the Beacon Award from the Illinois Bar Foundation for service to the charitable arm of the Illinois State Bar. The awards follow a 2000 award for distinguished service to law and society. John has devoted his practice for the past 47 years to the preparation and trial of civil litigation in Cook and DuPage Counties. John served as President of the DuPage County Bar Association in 1991 and previous thereto was appointed General Counsel to the DuPage Bar.

Henry D. Kass

David H. Weiss joined Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC, as an associate attorney in 2016. David is a 2010 graduate of Northeastern Illinois University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, magna cum laude. In 2014 David graduated the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in November of 2014.

Jessica L. Defino

Jessica Defino graduated from the John Marshall Law School in June 2016 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2016. Throughout law school, Jessica worked at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella as a law clerk, focusing on family law and employment law. In her last year of law school, Jessica was an extern with presiding Judge Pamela Loza in the Cook County Domestic Relations Parentage Division. During her time in law school, Jessica maintained herself on the Dean's List. She graduated from the University of Iowa with honors in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communications and a double minor in Spanish and Human Rights. During her time at the University of Iowa, Jessica was a co-founder of the Students for Human Rights group.

Todd D. Scalzo

Todd D. Scalzo has been practicing law since 2004, handling all matters of family law, such as divorce, paternity, child support, maintenance, relocation, allocation of parental responsibilities, and parenting plans. He has argued successfully before the Illinois Appellate Court. Mr. Scalzo is a court-approved Guardian ad litem (GAL) and Mediator.

Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Bradley University in her hometown, Peoria, Illinois. Jennifer graduated from Western Michigan Thomas Cooley Law School and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2016. During her last year of law school, Jennifer was an extern for the Honorable Janice K. Cunningham at the Eaton County Courthouse in Charlotte, Michigan. Throughout law school, Jennifer maintained herself on the Dean's List and earned the highest grade in five of her courses.
