How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I did bankruptcy to help people get relief from their debts. I enjoy the rewards of getting people out of financial trouble and distress and allowing them a new start freshly. That also is my same philosophy of why I also handle personal injury cases to help people receive proper compensation for their injuries.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Much of the technical aspects of the law are unknown to most people. My representation includes educating the client so they feel more comfortable with the legal procedure. I attempt to prevent bankruptcy filing if possible looking at other options, negotiating, debt consolidation or find creative solutions. If bankruptcy is required, then also I advise my clients to rebuild credit after the bankruptcy.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

There is a fine line between reviewing and representing.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am willing to coach clients but there are many pitfalls for the petitioner to advise from sidelines unless it is very clear to client that I do not represent them.
