Glenn Meier

My law practice is dedicated to assisting Nevada businesses optimize their operations, manage risk, and achieve long-term business success through effective planning. I am experienced in all aspects of business law and have built my practice on the premise that good planning and execution can mitigate the risk of business disputes; and that, should they occur, many business disputes can be settled through negotiation and mediation. However, should litigation be necessary, I have had great success in achieving the best possible outcomes for my clients.

Business law can be relatively simple, for example in the areas of corporate filings and the duties of a business resident agent; or very complex as in the areas of contracts, fiduciary requirements, environmental regulations and more. My role as your Counsel is to ensure the laws and regulations pertaining to your business are well managed so you can focus on achieving your business goals.

I believe in free enterprise and value the principles of Conscious Capitalism. I am committed to helping business owners achieve their goals by applying the tenets of Conscious Capitalism including building strong relationships with all stakeholders, supporting Conscious Leadership, developing a Conscious Culture and aligning all business decisions with the organization's higher purpose and core values.

I received my law degree from Emory University in 1990 and my undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in 1987. While in Law School I served on the editorial board of the Emory Law Journal. I am admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States, Supreme Court.

Prior to entering private practice I spent 6 years in the United States Air Force in the Judge Advocate General's Department. During that time I participated in many criminal trials including complex fraud cases and murder trials. My courtroom skills were recognized by the Air Force leading me to be named to a small group of prosecutors assigned to handle serious cases across the U.S.

I have additional training and experience in the area of mediation. I have completed over 100 hours of training at the prestigious Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine, University. My skills as a mediator allow me to act as an effective neutral third party in helping people resolve disputes and also give me tools to help my clients resolve their disputes more effectively.

I am actively engaged in the local community through membership in the Las Vegas Rotary Club, as a Board Member of the Josh Stevens Foundation, and as a member of the Advisory Council for the Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
