Martin Horwitz

At Martin S. Horwitz, Attorney at Law, I focus completely on workers' compensation.

I received my J.D. from University of Akron. I have been in practice for 35 years and I am a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation law (1 of 150 in Ohio).

I work solely in this practice area because I enjoy the satisfaction of helping injured workers get their medical bills paid, their lost wages, and other benefits even to the point of being compensated for a permanent and total disability. This system is difficult to navigate with an attorney, and I pride myself in being able to help people do it. Assisting clients successfully cut through the "red tape" of the system gives me satisfaction.

I get involved with claims quickly and my clients never have to come to the office because I will work with you over the phone. And when you call my office, you do not work with paralegals and secretaries; you will speak directly with me. When you call me, I will spend as much time as needed discussing all aspects of your claim. I will be completely open and honest about your case, and explain the steps you need to take in a way you can understand. The most satisfying part about my job is being able to answer all of a client's questions, making them feel more assured about their case. When you have run out of questions, that is when I know I am doing my job right.

Because I communicate with clients over the phone, I am able to work with clients throughout all of Northeast Ohio including those in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake Geauga, Medina, and Summit and Portage counties. From the moment you call me to your final hearing, I will be available to you, even in the evenings and on weekends.
