Travis W. Baxter

Mr. Baxter practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including intellectual property litigation and licensing, as well as preparation of patent, trademark, and copyright applications. He is a member of the bar of the State of Indiana, and is registered to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Mr. Baxter received his J.D. with high honors from the University of Iowa College of Law, and also received a B.S.E. with high honors in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a Water Resources focus from the University of Iowa. He worked with the Iowa Flood Center and the Iowa Institute of Hydraulic Research in preparing his Master's thesis entitled Engineering and Legal Aspects of a Distributed Storage Flood Mitigation System in Iowa.

Michael Beck

Mr. Beck practices in all phases of intellectual property law, including intellectual property clearance and litigation counseling, as well as preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, with a technical emphasis in the electro-mechanical, mechanical, electrical, software and medical device arts. Prior to practicing with the firm, Mr. Beck was an attorney with a large Indianapolis general practice law firm. He also worked for nearly ten years as a Vibration and Designs Engineer for two aerospace companies.

Mr. Beck received his J.D. degree from Western State University (now known as Thomas Jefferson School of Law). He received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute (now known as The Kettering Institute) and an M.S. degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a member of the bar of the State of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Beck is also a past Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Russell E. Fowler II

Mr. Fowler practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, infringement and validity analysis, and licensing, with a technical emphasis in the mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical arts. Prior to practicing with the firm, Mr. Fowler was an attorney with a large general practice law firm in Indianapolis.

Mr. Fowler received a J.D. degree in 1996, graduating cum laude from Indiana University - Indianapolis. He also received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from Purdue University -Indianapolis. He is a member of the bar of the State of Indiana, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Chuck M. Fox

Mr. Fox received his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. David M. Lockman

Mr. Lockman practices in all areas of intellectual property law with an emphasis in preparation and prosecution of patent applications for computer systems and software inventions as well as patent and trademark litigation. He is a member of the bars of the States of Indiana, Ohio, and Georgia. In addition, he is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Lockman is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Federal Circuits, and the District Courts for the Southern Districts of Indiana and Ohio and the Northern District of Georgia. In addition, Mr. Lockman is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Lockman received a B.E.E.E. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D., cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary. Prior to going to law school, Mr. Lockman was a design engineer for ten years in the fields of data communication systems, weapon systems, and factory automation equipment.

Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Maginot was a corporate patent attorney with NCR Corporation, as well as Xerox Corporation.

Mr. Maginot received a J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. He also received a M.S. degree in Engineering from Purdue University where his field of study was Electrical Engineering, and a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University where his field of study was Industrial Management/Engineering. Harold C. Moore

Kelli D. Morin

Joel S. Simon

Mr. Simon received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Michael A. Swift

Michael Swift's primary practice concentrations are intellectual property including IP litigation (representing both plaintiffs and defendants), patent prep and prosecution, client counseling, IP risk management, and business litigation. He has a broad technology experience base, including, but not limited to analytical and diagnostic testing and devices, chemical reaction and process engineering, consumer chemicals, FDA regulated compositions, industrial chemical manufacturing & processing, electro/mechanical devices, microdialysis devices, reaction engineering and equipment, probiotics, UV curable inks, chemical formulations, and orthpaedics.

Mr. Swift is a native of South Bend, Indiana. He graduated in 1980 from Tri-State University with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering. He has fifteen years of engineering and project management experience. Mr. Swift earned his juris doctorate cum laude in 1993 from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.

Mr. Swift is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, both State and Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the Indiana and American Bar Associations and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

James D. Wood

Mr. Wood practices in all phases of intellectual property law, including intellectual property litigation, preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark and copyright applications and patent infringement and validity analysis, with a technical emphasis in electrical, electromechanical, mechanical and medical device areas. Prior to practicing with the firm, Mr. Wood was an attorney in a large general practice law firm. He also worked for ten years in the aerospace industry as a systems engineer working with satellite architectures and prior to that served as an assistant engineer onboard a U.S. Navy nuclear powered submarine.

Mr. Wood received a J.D. with merit from the George Washington University Law School in 1998. He also received a B.S. degree with honors from the United States Naval Academy and an M.A. from the American University. He is a member of the bar of the State of Indiana, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Wood is also admitted to the Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
