Roseanne was born and raised in the Chicago area. She attended Trinity High School in River Forest, IL and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 1977. She went to law school at Northern Illinois University, and while in school was a law clerk at a medical malpractice firm. With the guidance of one of the partners, she discovered an interest in real estate law. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1980 and the Florida Bar in 1989. Rosanne focused on practicing commercial real estate, and was involved in the rehab of 35 East Wacker Drive and several West Loop office buildings.
In 1988 Roseanne decided to relocate to Florida, where she got her real estate brokers license and taught real estate law to paralegals. It was at this time that Roseanne discovered a real passion for teaching, and a unique ability as an attorney to explain complex law to others.
As John was attending law school, Roseanne was in a private practice focusing on divorce, bankruptcy, and real estate. Roseanne soon grew to adopt Johns passion for bankruptcy practice, and she became a member of the Federal Court of South Florida Bankruptcy Bar.
In 1999 John and Roseanne returned to Chicago and Roseanne continued teaching real estate classes. By 2005 John and Roseanne formed their own private practice specializing in bankruptcy and continue that practice today. Roseanne is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and the Will County Bar Association.
Utilizing a blend of extensive legal and teaching experience, Roseanne connects with clients and helps them to understand the bankruptcy process and make educated decisions regarding what debt relief option best suits them. Roseanne is well versed in real estate and property taxes, short sales, loan modifications, and also has expertise in wills, trusts and estate planning.
John Lynch became interested in debt relief and bankruptcy before he went to Law School. John was employed at Eastern Airlines in Miami, Florida, which at that time was the second largest airline in the US. Eastern Airlines filed for bankruptcy in 1990 and by 1991 it had closed its doors. John knew so many people that could not find work, had cars repossessed and faced mounting debt. Then, in 1992 Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida and Pan Am airlines also closed its doors. By that time John was a Paralegal and owner of a Title Company. He worked as a bankruptcy Paralegal throughout law school. Right after his graduation from Nova Southeastern Law School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida he made the decision to relocate to Illinois.
John began working at a Real Estate law firm in the Western Suburbs just as he was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1999. His interest in debt relief continued in Illinois and he began representation in bankruptcy cases along with foreclosure defense and real estate closings. After five years at the firm, John started his own practice specializing in bankruptcy.
As the bankruptcy laws began to change, John found it both challenging and interesting. Through his participation in the National Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bankruptcy Institute he studied the new laws and the resulting effects on his clients. As other lawyers were getting out of bankruptcy practice, John was doing the opposite and becoming familiar with the new laws and the affect they would have on clients. John is an active member of both the Illinois Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. He strives to bring the best available information to his practice.
