How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

There are times when families struggle to pay their bills. A job loss, even if for only a few weeks, can be devastating on a family budget. Medical issues may require missing work or increased medical expenses. The loss of income or the unexpected expenses associated with medical emergencies, may leave the family without the money to pay their mortgage payments, car payments or other necessary expenses. Keeping families in their homes, allowing for them to retain their cars, and relieving some of the stress associated with financial distress is the reason we entered in this area of the law over 20 years ago.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Lewis graduated from the University of Utah College of Law in 1995. He entered private practice and has focused primarily on Bankruptcy Law in Utah. Early in his practice he worked for two years as a staff attorney for one of the Chapter 13 Trustees for the District of Utah. He currently is a private practicing Salt lake City Bankruptcy Attorney located in West Jordan Utah.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

When faced with the financial distress, emotions run high, depression sets in, and it can be a trying time for an individual, a marriage and/or a family. Our goal is to bring light to the end of the dark tunnel. Our office treats every client with dignity and respect, just as we would our own family members. The heart is the soul of our business.
