For over 20 years, Oakland-based Leon & Leon has offered creative and attentive client-driven trial and appellate legal representation in Bay Area federal and state courts for a wide variety of commercial and individual disputes in areas such as real estate, construction, employment, environmental, insurance and business contracts and torts.

Attorneys at Leon & Leon have more than 30 years of litigation and counseling experience. Jeff and Debbie Leon worked for two top large California law firms before starting their own firm in 1993. Both Jeff and Debbie were members of the Virginia Law Review and ranked in the top three percent of their respective law school classes. Jeff also clerked for two years for a federal trial judge before he began his 30+ years of legal practice.

-Recently defended property owners in 7 consolidated suits involving large Oakland landslide and recovered over $500,000 and obtained dismissal of all complaints/cross-complaints against homeowners notwithstanding substantial portion of slide was on their property.
-Numerous (including recent) $500,000 - $1 million recoveries by settlement or trial in real estate broker/agent fiduciary duty and earth movement cases with dismissal of all claims/cross-claims against clients.
-Successfully resolved through trial and settlement numerous commercial landlord-tenant and commercial/residential boundary-easement disputes.
-Negotiated numerous real estate purchases and leases.
-Won quiet title action prior to eminent domain suit to establish client's legal interest in property, and then won broker commission suit against client by summary judgment motion after eminent domain suit.
