Mr. Eadon continued to build the firm's growing personal injury practice which included workers' compensation claims, auto and trucking accidents, and medical malpractice claims.

In 1983, Chris Isgett was hired to help with the growing practice. Mr. Isgett previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable E.C. Burnett.

Auto Accident

Were you injured in an automobile or trucking accident?

Automobile and tractor trailer/trucking accidents in South Carolina are often life changing events resulting in property damage, serious physical and emotional injuries, lifetime disabilities and often death.

Suddenly, you are faced with questions about insurance claims, vehicle damage, medical bills, loss of income or how to handle the devastating loss of a loved one. Some wrecks occur because drivers act careless, negligent, reckless and intentional conduct. Others are caused by drunk drivers, underinsured or uninsured drivers.

In trucking accidents there are issues of compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations concerning hours of service, vehicle inspection, weights of vehicles, and other issues which can have a decisive impact on the outcome of a case.

We will obtain driver's log books, maintenance records, inspection records and drivers' records.

Attorneys Lee, Eadon, Isgett, Popwell and Reardon represent clients who have been victims of the following

-Automobile Wrecks
-Tractor Trailer/18-Wheeler Wrecks
-Bus Accidents
-Drunk Drivers
-Motorcycle Collisions
-Wrongful Death/Survival Claims

How We Can Help You:
A person who is injured in an automobile or trucking wreck may be entitled to receive compensation for medical bills, lost wages, future income, property damage, and other losses. An individual who loses a loved one in a wreck may be a statutory beneficiary who can file wrongful death and survival claims.

We will determine which type of insurance is available to cover your accident (liability, med-pay, PIP, UIM, UM). South Carolina law requires an insurance company to offer various types of insurance to drivers to cover death, injuries, property damage, rental vehicles, and other losses.

In many cases, minimum coverage is not sufficient and we must seek additional coverage. This can include underinsured motorist coverage, med pay, PIP, and other policies which cover the injured party. Often drivers do not have insurance on their vehicle and uninsured motorist coverage will be responsible for payment of the claim.

We will investigate the accident, interview witnesses, speak with the insurance adjuster, help you with medical treatment, attend traffic court and handle property damage.

When appropriate, we will hire accident re-constructionists, economists and medical experts to maximize your recovery and bring about a fair resolution to your case.

We will use our experience and training to help you recover the maximum amount for your injuries and damages. We will consider all the factors and damages involved when handling your claims: death, physical injuries, emotional damages, disfigurement, pain and suffering, loss of current and future income, where the accident occurred, actions of the driver before the wreck and punitive damages.

We have represented many families who have lost a loved one in a wreck. The damages for the death of a loved one include compensation for the emotional devastation caused by such a tragedy, economic loss caused by the death, funeral benefits, survival benefits and other losses.

Often the evaluation of these sensitive claims involves hiring experts such as an economist, who can project future earnings that would have been available for the support of those left behind. It is very important to hire experts in order to recover the maximum amount for your losses.
