How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Our Firm has over 15 years of experience successfully defending our clients against criminal charges. We believe in representation that is both aggressive and compassionate. Criminal defense is both challenging and rewarding in the sense that we love to help our clients. In addition to fighting your case in court, our strategy includes finding a solution that minimizes the consequences of the charges on your career, your family and your future. At our firm, we will fight for your rights and your future.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Our firm has a wide range of experience in all kinds of cases from DUI to homicide in state and federal court at the trial level as well as at the appellate level. Whatever the charges you are facing, we are committed to achieving the most favorable results possible, whether by early resolution, creative settlement, motion work or jury trial. Not only do we have significant trial experience, we have filed a number of appeals, including an appeal in the California Supreme Court and a Petition for Certioriari in the United States Supreme Court on the issue of whether a juvenile offense counts as a strike under California's Three Strikes Law.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Over the years, we have worked to improve the justice system and bring about systemic change, taking on such projects as challenging the use of juvenile adjudications as strikes under California Three Strikes law, aiding in the creation of a diversion system for minors in traffic cases, and objecting to the scientific foundation related to the automated red light system in San Francisco.

Furthermore, at our firm, Michelle Dylan will personally handle your case, working directly with you to mount the most effective defense. We understand how difficult it is to be accused of a criminal offense and we are here to guide you through the process and keep you fully informed each step of the way.
