As a woman lawyer who owns her own firm, I believe I bring nurturing and caregiving skills to my cases. I grew up in a family of nursing professionals and spent much of my formative years volunteering in facilities with physically and congnitively impaired adults. I know that when a person becomes physically or mentally impaired and can no longer work, it impacts the entire family, No one wants to have to apply for disability, I know this. If you need to talk to someone about whether you or your loved one should be filing for disability, or have a claim in the process where you just have questions, call me. I can help.
I have successfully represented Social Security and Veteranâs Disabililty claimants starting withs initial filing, through administrative appeals and advanced appeals in the Federal Courts. I donât give up, I have done 1000â²s of hearings and am keenly aware that judges are not swayed by attorney advertising bluster. Cases are won by careful preparation, and effectively arguing the application of the law based upon the fine details of the evidence. Preparation of cases must be attorney driven and not staff driven. I believe in the practice of law as an honorable profession, and not just another legal service business. I am a leader in the disability legal community, teaching and speaking both locally and nationally. I routinely accept referrals of advanced level Appeals Council and Federal Court claims from other firms.
