Timothy Kolman is an experienced trial lawyer focusing on complex commercial litigation and civil rights work. He also concentrates his practice in international transactions and selected criminal and family law matters.
Mr. Kolman holds two law degrees, one an honors law degree from Glasgow University in Scotland (where he was awarded prizes in politics and economic history) and the other law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was editor of the Law Review. He is also the recipient of two American Jurisprudence awards. A former resident of the United Kingdom, he is a lifetime student member of the Middle Temple Inn of Court in London and a military combat veteran.
Mr. Kolman is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Kolman prides himself on his availability and accessibility to clients and his determination to respond to all telephone calls and inquiries the day they are made. He also believes law is more a vocation than to a business, and his commitment reflects that belief.
