Rob focuses his active trial practice on employment discrimination, wrongful termination, personal injury and commercial litigation. He received his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A. from Montana State University. Recently, he was selected as a "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics (2009).
Neals goal in representing each of his clients is obtaining justice, pure and simple. Since being admitted to practice in 1992, Neal has sought justice for hundreds of clients in the state and federal courts of Washington and Oregon. During his career he has represented individuals, small companies, and Fortune 100 companies in a wide variety of litigation matters. His experience includes numerous jury trials, as well as appeals in the Washington Court of Appeals, the Oregon Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has worked for public agencies, mid-sized law firms, and a national law firm. At Fulton & Philip, the experience and inside knowledge Neal brings to the firm enables him to provide the highest quality of legal representation to his clients in his practice, now focused on insurance, personal injury, and employment litigation.
In addition to obtaining justice for his clients, Neal also believes that attorneys need to give back to the community. Through Lawyers Helping Hungry Children (LHHC), he is involved in the fight against childhood hunger and in increasing public awareness of the harm caused by childhood hunger. In May 2010, Childrens Alliance recognized Neal for his work with LHHC and presented him with its Voices for Children award. At home on Vashon Island, Neal serves in the elected position of Fire Commissioner for Vashon Island Fire & Rescue.
