Free Initial Consultation?
Yes. We offer a free, 30 minute consultation to review your case and determine the best option.
Services Offered For Fixed Fees?
For W-2 employees, a Chapter 13 has a fixed fee of $3,500.00. If you are self-employed, the fee could increase to $4,500.00. Most of this fee can be spread through the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Plan — meaning the down payment is usually very low to begin. The fee for a Chapter 7 must be paid before we can file the case, as your attorney cannot be listed as a creditor in your case. The total fee depends on several factors. Because every case is different, we do not set a fee on this type of Bankruptcy. If you mention this website when contacting our office, you will receive a $100 discount on either Bankruptcy option.
Hourly Rates
Our fees are typically fixed — as opposed to an hourly rate.

Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

No. Bankruptcy is extremely complex and all parts should be handled by an experienced and knowledgeable attorney.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

We typically charge flat fees — so the costs are all included for the attorney and support staff. We work hard to keep additional costs at a minimum (including faxes, postage, and the like).

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

This is rare in Bankruptcy. Most of the cases are resolved without any heated litigation or objections. If a case becomes contested, the Judge is the best one to solve the dispute.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

We are not currently offering any pro bono services or free legal advice.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Choosing the right attorney to represent you during your case is the most important step in the Bankruptcy process. It's easy for an inexperienced attorney to make an easy Bankruptcy case difficult, and a complicated Bankruptcy case a complete disaster. I have the experience and dedication required for your case. I will meet with you in person and guide you during the entire process. While skilled and experienced paralegals are important to the Bankruptcy process, they cannot substitute for an attorney's advice and guidance. If you want an attorney dedicated to your case, who will meet with you in person and guide you at each step of the case, please give me a call.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is always good to do some preliminary research on legal issues. However, consumer Bankruptcy is a difficult and highly technical area of the law. It is always best to consult with an attorney that focuses on this specific area to guide you through the process effectively.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Not in the Bankruptcy setting. I prefer to obtain the necessary paperwork (budget, tax returns, paystubs, etc) and then draft the necessary legal documents. This helps avoid any problems after filing the case.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

No. Our mission is to represent the client and provide premier legal services on behalf of all clients. If someone wants to represent themselves, we cannot help.
