Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes, depending on the type of case and purpose.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Once you are a client of our firm we will assign your case to a specific attorney who will handle the case from start to finish. We work as a team in our office, and the supervising attorney will always be aware and take part in reviewing the cases and checking in with the file attorney on the case every step of the way to make sure we are on track. The attorneys in our office have assigned paralegals which are available to assist the attorneys in scheduling hearings, preparing letters to clients, and handling status calls from clients as well as various other duties. We pride ourselves on having attorneys and staff that are always easily assessable to our clients.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Mediation is a tool that we will use in certain types of cases, when we feel it would be a beneficial to our client. Mediation is used more frequently during certain types of cases; i.e. foreclosures defense cases and not so often in other types of cases. We do offer mediation to our clients and will explain what the possible results may be from going through the process. We will then allow our clients to make a decision if they feel that they would like to participate.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Our law firm does participate in assisting clients that have been referred to us through Legal Aid.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

What you find from our law firm that you may not get from others is excellent customer service, extensive knowledge in the cases we represent, non cookie cutter defense or representation. All our clients have different goals and their cases are individually evaluated and our representation is custom tailored to our clients needs. We won't take your case if we can't help you. If you can solve your problem without a lawyer we will tell you what your options are. We are litigators. We believe in what we are doing and we are straight talkers and will tell up front what you need to know about you case.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We believe that an informed client is essential to proper representation.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes, depending on the type of case and purpose of the document.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Yes, depending on the type of case and purpose.

Charles Restrepo

The firm was established more than 20 years ago and our firm has been the firm of choice for clients large and small who have ventured into investing in real estate or who lost their investments as a result of the injustice of others. During this time, we have painstakingly built a reputation for integrity and excellence and for the endless pursuit of justice on behalf of those we represent. We are known for our mastery of various focused areas of practice. Other lawyers have often called upon us in seeking advice before bringing a lawsuit. Over the years, our practice has grown considerable both in size and sophistication. We are now a major presence on the real estate legal arena and yet we have never lost sight of our guiding principal: No client, however large or small, should ever be denied the opportunity to see and find justice.

Once you are a client of our firm we will assign your case to a specific attorney who will handle the case from start to finish.
