How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I have represented primarily creditors for approximately 30 years starting in 1964. After my savings & loan and bank clients were merged into larger banks, I found that my creditor's rights work decreased to a point that I needed additional work to keep me busy. Since I had consentrated my practise in bankruptcy, collection, foreclosure and real estate. I decided to gradually represent Debtors primarily and I have found that this work & my success in helping debtors has provided to me the most satisfaction I have had in the practise of law.
