Maryam Kia

Practicing law for nearly 10 years, Mrs. Kia has a diverse educational and professional background.

She received a special Certificate in International and Comparative Law from Whittier Law School. During law school she was an active member of the Moot Court Honors Board, and on the Dean's List. She is admitted to practice before the Eastern Federal District Courts of California. Mrs. Kia is an active member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mrs. Kia has successfully represented numerous foreign nationals in non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters.

During graduate school she received the Dean's Scholastic Scholarship, the Helen P & Jack Levin Scholarship, and was a Senator on the USC Graduate and Professional Student Senate.

Mrs. Kia speaks fluent Farsi and English and is conversational in Spanish and Arabic.

She is currently an adjunct professor, teaching Business Law.
